DN5 is an intermediate model of the DN series of acoustic dreadnoughts made by Taylor Guitars. This DN is equipped with all of the series trademark features, such as non-cutaway body, fully acoustic construction and 25-1/2" scale. This one comes only in natural color, which is finished in a combo of satin and gloss. Also, Taylor`s own tuning machines are installed on all of the models in this series. GC5 got the golden ones. Body of GC5 is made of mahogany back and sides with spruce sound board on top. Bridge and fingerboard are matched and made of ebony. Fingerboard i equipped with 20 frets, white dot position markers, 15" radius and 1.75" wide TUSQ string nut. Neck upon which this fingerboard is installed is made of tropical mahogany.
