BR-280 belongs to the Prewar series in the Blueridge catalog and it comes as a full-sized and heavily decorated dreadnought guitar. Abalone and ivoroid binding are applied around the edges of the solid spruce sound board. Also, there are tortoise shell pickguard and triple circle rosette with the middle circle made of abalone. Back and side panels of the body are made of solid grade A rosewood. 20-fret ebony fingerboard is decorated with position markers made of abalone and they come accompanied by a beautiful abalone inlay on the vintage styled headstock. Headstock is also equipped with a set of six vintage-styled tuning machines with golden plating. Neck on this model is made of one piece of mahogany and it is attached to the body with a 14th fret dovetail joint.
