With the price tag set at $2,899, D-18 is one of the most affordable models from the Standard series. It features a regular-sized dreadnought body with fully acoustic construction. Solid high-grade mahogany is used for the back and side panels of the body, while the solid spruce is used for the sound board. Scalloped X bracing is installed on the inner side of the sound board, which enhances the tone projection and quality. On the outside, top panel is equipped with tortoise binding, teardrop-shaped pickguard and triple circle rosette. Rosewood bridge is made with standard belly contour and bone saddle. Hardwood neck features low profile and satin finish in the back. It has modern construction and 20-fret rosewood fingerboard for improved playability. Open-gear tuners on this model are plated in nickel.
