Roby Duke II is one of two Roby Duke signatures made by Avalon Guitars. The main difference between these two very similar models is the body top material. Where Roby Duke I features a cedar top (like all models designated "1-"), Roby Duke II has a spruce top (again, like all models designated "2-"). Roby Duke II is an auditorium guitar, with single-cut body, glued in neck and gold-plated hardware (tuners). The body is made of east Indian rosewood (back, sides) and spruce (top). There are no alternative materials offered. The neck is made of mahogany and it features the standard 14th fret joint. A 20-fret ebony fingerboard sits on its top. An entire host of Fishman, K&K and LR Baggs pickup options is offered for Roby Duke II model. Rosewood bridge and Avalon`s AXE bracing complete the specs list. Basic price, excluding the delivery costs, is set at $5,990.
