Takamine G Series Dreadnought line of model is one of the widest in Takamine catalog. It also contains a model specially dedicated to the fund raising for the people affected by the tsunami in Japan. It is a non-cutaway dreadnought model named TR340S. It has a body made of spruce top and mahogany back and sides. It is available in natural gloss with black binding. The bridge on this model is made of rosewood with belly shape, black pins and white plastic saddle. The neck features a dovetail joint at the 14th fret. The fingerboard for this model is made of rosewood with 20 frets, dot inlays and a special japan flag inlay at the 12th fret. Chrome plated hardware completes the spec. The MSRP for this model is set at $500.
