G series from Takamine offers a wide range of affordable acoustic and acoustic-electric guitars. EG482SCX is a model from G NEX line of acoustic and acoustic-electric guitars. It comes with a single cutaway shaped body made of mahogany back and sides with a spruce top. The top is bound in creme binding to contrast the glossy black paint job. It also features a belly shaped rosewood bridge and a highly decorated rosette around the sound hole. Electronics department features a combination of under-saddle piezo pickup and TP4T preamp. Controls for this preamp are mounted onto the upper side of the body. Neck is connected to the body with a dovetail joint, which is placed at the 14th fret. Rosewood fingerboard comes with a set of 20 frets, dot position inlays and 1.675" wide string nut.
