Ovation`s Adamas range is made in the USA, in company`s main production facilities. These are high-tech acoustic-electrics, made for the most adventurous guitar players out there. The brand new Adamas GCF Series Shallow 1198-GCF is one of only two currently available Adamas models. It offers a shallow, non-cutaway body, a gued-in neck, 22 frets, the standard 22-fret fingerboard (low E string has only 17, while the high E has all 22), and Ovation`s own electronics. The color palette is limited to the color of the carbon fiber top. Other notable features include a composite back (Ovation`s traditional back/sides choice), a 5-piece mahogany/maple neck w/ebony fingerboard on its top, an ebony bridge (fixed), OP-1K pickup/OP Pro Studio electronics, and die-cast tuners.
