Maton Guitars maintain a wide selection of acoustic and acoustic-electric guitars in their catalog. Jumbos play a prominent role and some of the most important Maton acoustics are made with this shape. Such is the case with EAJ85. It has a large non-cutaway body made of solid blackwood back and sides and Queensland maple sound board on top. Top panel is equipped with combined herringbone and blackwood binding and tortoise shell pickguard. Sound hole is encircled with a triple circle rosette. This model is available in natural color with glossy finish. Bridge section is a standard one, belly shaped bridge made of rosewood is installed. Neck is made of selected Queensland maple and attached to the body with a dovetail joint. 21 frets are standard for Maton acoustics. This set comes on a rosewood fingerboard.
