DSTG is, like the DST model, made primarily for the European market and European players. The two Special Editions series` models feature the same set of appointments and specs, with DSTG having a gloss finish instead of DST`s satin finish. DSTG costs $2,799 and brings a non-cutaway dreadnought body (forward-shifted X-bracing), 14th fret dovetail joint, 25.4" scale, gold-plated hardware, and classic Martin styling. Natural color (w/gloss finish, faux tortoise binding, gold-plated hardware) is the only available option. Core construction features include solid sapele back & sides, solid Sitka spruce top (tortoise pickguard, triple rosette), select hardwood neck (modified low oval profile), and 20-fret fingerboard made of ebony. Other important features include spruce-made bracing, gold-plated tuning machines, and solid ebony bridge.
