More Acoustics Series Electric Guitar by 'Johnson Guitars'
JG-650-T is an acoustic-electric guitar from the More Acoustics series made by Johnson Guitars. Even though it is acoustic-electric guitar, it features solid-body electric guitar type of amplification. Johnson installs a passive pickup within the body cavity and master volume and tone knobs on the shoulder of the body. Single cut dreadnought body is made of budget-friendly tone woods, nato on the sides and in the back with spruce sound board on top. This body is combined with a nato neck. Nato is used here as a substitute for mahogany. Result is pretty decent, considering the models from other brands, which have the same or worse performance with this tone wood selection. Bridge and 20-fret fingerboard on this model are made of rosewood.
