AJ series is one of the most popular lines of acoustic guitars made and sold under the Epiphone banner. It offers affordable dreadnoughts in both fully acoustic and acoustic-electric variants, made with several different combinations of tonewoods. All AJ models have round-shoulder dreadnought bodies, 25.5" scales, 20-fret fingerboards, conventional design, and recognizable Epiphone tone. Masterbilt AJ-500RCE is one of the most advanced members of the AJ family. It is available in Natural Satin and Vintage Sunburst Satin (both with white binding, tortoise pickguards, chrome hardware). Other notable features include solid back & sides (Epiphone site does not specify the type of wood), solid Sitka spruce top, D-shaped mahogany neck (dovetail joint at 14th fret), a fixed belly-shaped bridge, Shadow electronics, and Grover`s Sta-Tite tuners.
