Cordoba`s Acero series is there for all the players who like to mix things up, all the sonic adventurers and explorers. This is the one where traditionally nylon-stringed Cordoba goes steel-string. Dreadnought and grand auditorium-shaped models with hybrid steel-string/classical features make up the roster.
D9-CE is a single-cut dreadnought with amplification, 25-1/2" scale, hybrid bracing (Torres/X-bracing), chrome hardware, and Spanish heel neck joint. As of October 2017, the only color option listed on the Cordoba site is Natural (w/gloss finish, chrome tuners, acacia rosette). Main construction features include solid mahogany back & sides, solid spruce top, mahogany neck, and 20-fret rosewood fingerboard.
Other major features include Cordoba AFSII (Acoustic Fidelity System) electronics, solid rosewood bridge, 1.8" TUSQ string nut, and Grover die-cast tuners.
