Nickelplated Steel
RC-2 is nickel-plated resonator guitar with a body made entirely of brass. It features a single cone at the center of the top panel. Body is made with non-cutaway construction and it`s fully acoustic, for Regal ruled against electronics on this one. Body lacks some of the decorative features usually found on wooden resonators. There is no binding, no lacquer finish, nor circular sound holes. However, the top is decorated with a pair of "f" holes. Resonator cone is topped with the bridge section. Bridge is placed in the front and it`s backed by a trapezoid tailpiece. Neck on RC-2 is made of mahogany. As opposed to round/square neck division, this model features slim and narrow neck contour. 19-fret fingerboard is made of rosewood.
