Schecter 2017 Acoustics

A quick overview of Schecter`s acoustic models for 2017.

Schecter 2017 Acoustics

Schecter`s acoustic range will be stronger for six brand new acoustic models. Two among them are signature models made for Cure`s Robert Smith.

With 2017 already here and Winter NAMM just around the corner, Schecter`s camp is conducting final preparations for the new season. Along with the rest of the catalog, acoustic range is being refurbished and replenished for 2017. Six new models divided into three series, make up the list of acoustic novelties. Deluxe series, a completely new series, starts off with one model – Deluxe Acoustic. It is a completely acoustic single-cut, made for beginners and players who want a basic flat-top steel-stringer. Next on the menu is the popular Orleans series. Stage Acoustic, Studio Acoustic and Studio Acoustic 12 (series` first twelve-string model) make up the 2017 lineup. Finally, a pair of Robert Smith signatures, named RS-1000 Busker Acoustic and RS-1000 Stage Acoustic, make the roster. All of the models, save for the Deluxe Acoustic and RS-1000 Busker, sport Fishman electronics and Grover hardware.

Schecter Deluxe Acoustic is a basic acoustic model, made for players who want a budget-friendly steel-stringer. Mahogany and spruce are chosen for the body and it`s paired with mahogany neck/rosewood fingerboard combo. Schecter tuners, dot inlays and rosewood bridge are also featured on this affordable guitar. Schecter Orleans Stage Acoustic is the first of three Orleans updates. It comes with a single-cut, flat-top body made of flamed maple and spruce. Abalone binding, rosette and inlays are there for classic Schecter styling. Grover and Fishman hardware and electronics complete this steel-stringed marvel. Schecter Orleans Studio Acoustic is Stage Acoustic`s more conservative sibling. Differences between these two are found mainly in the cosmetics & styling department, where Studio Acoustic features more subdued appearance. The only main difference in construction is in the choice of soundboard, where Studio model rocks a cedar top instead of spruce. For further info and a complete specs list, check the Orleans Studio Acoustic detail page on our site or Schecter`s official web page.

Schecter Orleans Studio-12 Acoustic is the first twelve-stringed model of the Orleans line. Its specs list is very similar to the one of the six-stringed Studio Acoustic, with the only major difference being the additional set of strings on the twelve-stringer. Grover and Fishman appointments complete this model, as well.
