Ibanez revamp the Destroyer Bass.

Ibanez Reveal New DTB100 Bass

Ibanez decide to re-introduce the legendary Destroyer Bass under the name of the DTB100. One of the sweetest basses is available once more.

For a long time now, Ibanez have been among the trend setters and one of the defining brands when it comes to what a proper metal axe is. Both in the guitar and bass sectors Ibanez helped shape what is now known as heavy music, and are now true giants in that field. A reputation forged in merciless market fight, contested many times, but never broken. One of the iconic Ibanez basses, the Destroyer is in the production once more, and is now called Ibanez DTB100.

Ibanez DTB 100 is one flamboyant bass, a statement of rock and roll and it`s wild attitude. An axe for players who seek primarily a solid instrument with a statement. Ideal for all those who want to spice-up their playing as well as their appearance

Ibanez DBT100 features solid Mahogany body shaped after the Explorer which revolutionized the way guitars were made back when it was introduced in 1950s. A shape that still rocks. On top of the flat body is a fixed bridge with four saddles, one per string. The heart of this bass is one "P" pickup in the middle position. Split humbucker brings the heavy metal thunder with every note played. Controls are simple and easy, but sufficient for efficient manipulation while playing. Master volume and master  tone knobs are in charge of the instrument`s tone. Three piece Maple neck is fast, slim and comfortable, thus enabling an unrepeatable playing experience. Rosewood fingerboard features 22 medium frets and dot position inlays. Other features include: 34" scale, 1.57" nut width, 12" fingerboard radius and gold hardware. Available in Candy Apple color and gloss finish.

Ibanez DTB100 is one great bass with a great attitude. It brings fantastic playability and sound together with strong rock and roll rebellious statement. The axe for bass players looking to step up their game, both sound-wise and appearance-wise. Check DTB100 at our detail page or at Ibanez Guitars official web page.
