Gretsch Guitars introduce five new semi-hollow bodied  and two solid bodied models for their fantastic Electromatic Collection.

Known for the outstanding quality of their products, Gretsch guitars and their famous Electromatic Collection get a sevenfold boost in shape of seven new models. Gretsch Guitars decided to rev it up for the new season with seven hot new guitars. These new models are broadening the spectrum of the magnificent Electromatic Collection. Five of these new guitars are semi-hollow bodied: G5445T Double Jet with Bigsby, G5435T Pro Jet with Bigsby, G5434 Pro Jet, G5434 Pro Jet Left Handed and G5425 Jet Club. G5415 Special Jet and G5103 CVT III are solid-bodied models.

New models are based upon the Jet shape, which is Gretsch variant of legendary Gibson Les Paul. Chambered Mahogany bodies with Maple tops are standard feature with more expensive models in this collection, whereas cheaper models feature solid Basswood bodies. Adjust-O-Matic bridges are combined with stoptail bars or, on some models with Bigsby Vibrato. Power plants behind the terrific sound of new Gretsch guitars are Blacktop FilterTron humbuckers for up-scale models or Gretsch humbuckers for cheaper ones. Pickup configurations utilized are standard dual humbucking, with the exception of G5103 CVT III, which comes with three humbuckers. Pricier models feature master volume, master tone, bridge pickup volume and neck pickup volume, while the rest have only master volume and master tone. Maple necks are a standard throughout the palette. Also, rosewood fingerboards with 22 medium jumbo frets are standard features. All models have 24-3/5" scales, 1.6875" nut width, synthetic bone nuts, 12" fingerboard radius and chrome hardware. All models, except the G5103 CVT III have pickguards.

Gretsch G5445T Double Jet with Bigsby leads the pack of newcomers and is one mean machine. Chambered LP shaped Mahogany body with arched solid Maple top guarantees for a great tone. Adjust-O-Matic bridge with Bigsby features fantastic tuning stability and durability. Pickup configuration consists of two Blacktop FilterTron humbucking pickups, one in bridge, and one in neck position. These pickups bring fantastic sustain and tone. Maple neck is smooth and comfortable to enable an unrepeatable playing experience. Featured on this neck is a bound Rosewood fingerboard with 22 medium jumbo frets and pearloid hump-block inlays. Other features include: Synthetic bone nut, 24-3/5" scale length, 1.6875" nut width, three way toggle pickup switch, bridge volume, neck volume, master volume and master tone control knobs, pickguard lifted from body top, chrome hardware and die-cast tuners. Gretsch G5435T Pro Jet with Bigsby is the second Bigsby featured model among the new guitars. This fantastic guitar reinforces the lines of the Electromatic Collection with another high quality Bigsby featured model. Chambered Mahogany Jet shaped body with arched solid maple top is modeled after the legendary single cutaway Gibson Les Paul. Adjust-O-Matic bridge is combined with Bigsby vibrato for unprecedented tuning stability. Pickups on this model are Blacktop FilterTron humbucker in the bridge and Blacktop FilterTron in the neck position which bring great sound and sustain. Controls consist of a master volume, master tone, bridge volume and neck volume knob. Pickup switch is a classical three-way toggle. Smooth and comfortable Maple neck complements the Mahogany/Maple body very well. Rosewood fingerboard features 22 medium jumbo frets and hump-block inlays. Gretsch G5434 Pro Jet and Gretsch G5434 Pro Jet Left Handed follow in the line of the aforementioned models. A nice addition to the Electromatic Collection. Chambered mahogany bodies are covered with arched solid maple tops. Adjust-O-matic bridge is combined with a stoptail bar bringing awesome tuning stability. Double humbucker combo ensures a great sound and sustain. Pickups used are Blacktop FilterTron humbucking pickups. Controls on these models include a master tone, bridge volume, neck volume and a master volume knob. Pickup switch is classical three-way toggle. Maple neck is nicely shaped to give great comfort and a fantastic playing experience. Rosewood fingerboard features ww medium jumbo frets and hump-block pearloid inlays. Gretsch G 5425 Jet Club is the next in line of the novelties. This guitar brings terms high quality and affordability together. A nice novelty in the Electromatic Collection catalog. Chambered Mahogany body is covered with an arched laminated Maple top. Bridge option on this model is a reliable and stable combination of Adjust-O-Matic bridge and a stoptail bar. This is the first among today`s new models to feature dual Gretsch humbucking pickups. These power plants bring abundant sustain and tonal quality. Controls on third model are simple and consist only of two knobs, a master volume and a master tone. Pickup switch is a standard three-way toggle. Bolt-on Maple neck is fast and comfortable. Bound Rosewood fingerboard features 22 medium jumbo frets and cool side thumbnail inlays. Sixth model of today`s seven newcomers is Gretsch G5415 Special Jet. The cheapest one, but still a great instrument and a giant in it`s price range. Solid Basswood body is chosen for this model and is combined with a bolt-on Maple neck. Bridge is Adjust-O-Matic with a stoptail bar. Fantastic and reliable option that brings solid tuning stability. Pickups are Gretsch humbuckers in the bridge and neck positions. Powerful and good sounding, these pickups are a guarantee of good tone and sustain. Controls are simple and consist of a master volume and master tone knobs. Basic and effective. pickup switch is a three-way toggle. Bolt-on Maple neck is comfortable and sleak, providing good playability al over the fingerboard. Rosewood fingerboard is equipped with 22 medium jumbo frets and white dot inlays. Solid Mahogany body with a carved top is combined with a bolt-on maple neck. Adjust-O-Matic and a stoptail bar are chosen as the bridge option as they are both affordable and reliable allies when it comes to stability. Three humbucking pickups deliver great tone and sustain for the guitar`s price range. All three are Gretsch mini humbucking pickups.
