Gibson USA has vast lines of Les Paul and SG models, and almost all of them feature tune-o-matic bridges with stoptail bars. Some have vintage Bigsby vibratos and some sport wraparound bridges. This time, LP and SG lines each got their own Floyd Rose double locking tremolo models. Shred Les Paul Studio and SG Diablo Tremolo are the names of these models. Modern looking, with updated classic shapes and already proven materials and measures, these models are sure to cause massive jaw-drop effect wherever they go. Active PAF humbuckers make sure these guitars never run out of steam and power.
Gibson USA Shred Les Paul Studio is a rare bird, it is a regular Studio series LP with a Floyd Rose locking tremolo bridge. Other than that, the only thing to stand out from the Studio spec list is a locking string nut. Shred Les Paul Studio comes with a chambered mahogany body and maple top. Ebony in gloss finish is the only color option on this modern rock and metal oriented axe. PAF humbuckers are placed in both the bridge and neck positions and controlled through LP`s standard controls setup. The neck is made of mahogany with richlite fingerboard and mortise & tenon joint. 22 frets and 1.70" wide locking nut complete the spec. Gibson USA SG Diablo Tremolo is an SG Floyd Rose equipped model represented fo 2012. It`s carved top, active PAF humbuckers and 24 fret rosewood fingerboard make for an impressive appearance. Finally, the legend`s got it all a metalhead needs. Devil horns double cutaway body is made of mahogany and paired with a mahogany made neck with slim SG contour. The black nitrocellulose gloss finish suits this Diablo perfectly even without binding and pickguards. This model threatens to rearrange the scene of metal oriented 24 fret, Floyd Rose axes with it`s massive tone and supreme playability.
