RX 80 is a part of the RX series of double-cut guitars made by Washburn. Just like the Idol models were shaped after the Les Paul, RX axes were inspired by Stratocaster and Soloist. RX 80 is the top model, the king of the hill of the RX series. This 24-fretted riff machine comes with a solid and flat double-cut body. It is made of mahogany. There is no top wood cover and Washburn makes this one in natural color with only clear gloss lacquer as protection from the elements. Hardware is plated in chrome. Tune-o-matic bridge is alone in the bridge section and it features string-through construction. Passive pickups in it`s front are installed in H/H pattern. Set in maple neck is topped with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard.
