PXL series is a part of the magnificent Parallaxe range, Washburn`s Iron Label of sorts. All of its models are based on the classic LP design and mixed with metal-oriented appointments and styling. All currently available PXL models cost well under $1,000.
PXL27EC is the only seven-stringed PXL and it offers a carved-top body, glued-in neck (w/24-3/4" scale), minimalistic styling and active electronics. Carbon Black Matte is the name of the only available color option (black hardware, black plastics, matte finish). Main construction features include solid mahogany body base, contoured mahogany body top, set-in mahogany neck, and 24-fret fingerboard made of ebony (Parallax inlay at the 12th fret, 1.89" nut).
EMG`s 707 pickups, two-piece hardtail bridge unit, and Grover tuners complete this seven-stringed beast.
