Wasburn made a number of Paul Staley signature models over past years, and they had tremendous success. Thus, the line is growing to include a few new models for 2012. One of those models, PSV2200 is an homage to Paul`s early years in KISS, when he played on Flying Vs. PSV2200 comes with a solid V shaped body made of mahogany. There are four colors available, black, white, cracked mirror and rhinestone. Black and white are basic models and may not have all features of cracked mirror and rhinestone variants. All are finished in gloss, with cracked mirror and rhinestone having a single-ply top binding. Bridges are Tonepros tune-o-matics with stoptail bars and chrome plating. The exception is black PSV2200 with a hardtail bridge. Pickups setups on all variants bring passive bridge humbucker with no neck pickups. Seymour Duncan JB is the pickup of choice. All variants feature master volume and master tone controls. Necks are made of mahogany with set necks. Ebony fingerboards have 22 jumbo sized frets and abalone pearl block inlays. Other features on these models include: mirror pickguards on black and white variants, 24-3/4" scales, Grover tuners on all variants, as well as Buzz Feiten tuning systems.
