GV Wood Mahogany comes with a solid, single cutaway body made of Honduran mahogany back and flamed maple top. The top is carved and finished in varnish gloss. There are no pickguards featured on this model, as Vigier sided with the stripped down looks for the entire GV series. The bridge section is made up of tune-o-matic-similar fixed bridge and a stoptail bar. A pair of active humbuckers comprise the pickups section. They are controlled through master volume, master tone and a five-position blade pickup switch. Pickup switch also splits these humbuckers into single coils in second, third and fourth positions. Maple neck is bolted and equipped with a D contour. Phenowood fingerboard comes with 22 medium frets, side dot position markers and 1.65" teflon nut. Tuners are made by Schaller.
