Custom Pro is a model from the Valley Arts Custom Pro series. It is currently the only active model in the series. It comes with a solid, double-cut body with slightly vintage styling. It reminds of the 1980s Soloist models. Body of this double-cut six-stringer is made of maple back and quilted maple top. Sunburst is the main color scheme assigned to this model and it features the gloss finish, along with gold-plated hardware. Set in neck is also made of maple and it features the series standard slim profile in the back. Top of the neck is covered with also standard 22-fret fingerboard made of ebony. Pickups installed on this model are active EMGs in HSS configuration. Tremolo bridge is the default option for this model. Custom Pro model is highly customizable instrument and virtually every aspect and feature can be modified.

The gold finish on the hardware is tarnished, after 20 years (understandable), but amazingly, the neck has not warped. One niggle is changing the battery, which requires loosening all the strings. Retuning then requires some work, as the locking nuts need to be carefully adjusted (to get back the correct intonation, and prevent wear on the nuts).
