Opposite to what might be expected, models with additional strings are only slightly more expensive (OS 8 starts at $1,995.00 while the OS 6 starts at $1,895.00). Boden OS 8 is a compound-scaled, headless weapon of axe destruction. It kicks off just like any other standard Boden OS model, with a chambered swamp ash body with a two-piece flame maple cap on top. The neck is bolted to the body and is made of three pieces of birdseye maple and two carbon fiber fillets (optionally, rosewood fillets). EMG`s 808x humbuckers deliver supremely powerful, yet very clear tone. Other major features include a Series 5 EGS bridge and string lockers.
