Solar`s S range is a home to modern, progressive electric guitars. Its members are able to handle the heaviest riffs and the hottest leads. There are two types of S models - S1 and S2. S1.6ETC belongs to the former. It is a six-string axe with a modern alder body, fast maple neck, and a crushing tone. The body rocks a pretty neat tummy cut and a super-deep cutaway. The neck runs partially through the body, having the so-called "set-thru" joint. Also, the sculpted heel makes it easier to reach top frets. 24-fret ebony fingerboard tops the neck. Duncan Solar pickups deliver power and sustain in buckets and have simple controls. S1.6ETC is available only in Carbon Black Matte. The list price is set at 1,099�.
