Zacky Vengeance, the rhythm guitarist of California metal act Avenged Sevenfold also has a line of signature models made by Schecter. This one is a 6661 model, the guitar inspired by the legendary SG. Schecter Zacky Vengeance 6661 is a solid bodied double cutaway model with a body made of mahogany. The top has beveled edges with no binding and a small black pickguard reminiscent of the small SG pickguards. This model is available only in satin black color. The neck is made of three pieces of mahogany and features a comfortable contour with a set-in joint. There are no ultra access cutaways on Zacky Vengeance models as opposed to Synyster`s and many others whose models do have it. The fingerboard is made of rosewood with black binding. It is equipped with 22 extra jumbo sized frets with Zacky`s custom inlays. The bridge on this model is a classic tune-o-matic with a stoptail bar combination. The bride, as well as the rest of the hardware is plated in chrome. The pickups on 6661 are Seymour Duncan Custom JB humbuckers in both bridge and neck positions. They are controlled through two volume knobs, master tone, push-pull switches for coil splitting and a three-way toggle pickup switch.
