Stealth series is a complete novelty in Schecter`s catalog and a reach towards the lower intermediate and beginner classes, which are proving to be more and more lucrative in recent years. Schecter`s answer to this trend is Stealth, a line of solid-bodied electric guitars with C-1 and C-7 bodies, set in necks with ultra access cutaways, passive electronics and Schecter hardware and pickups. Base model of this series is the Stealth C-1, a solid and double-cut guitar with carved top and ultra access cutaway. It is made of mahogany and is paired with a mahogany neck (these features give great possibilities to players who are looking for an affordable guitar with good build quality in order to upgrade it with higher class pickups and tuners). On the top, there is the standard six-saddled hardtail bridge and a pair of Schecter`s Super Rock II humbuckers. Master volume, master tone (has a push/pull switch) and a three-way toggle pickup switch comprise the controls. Mahogany neck has the standard C contour in the back, 14" radius and is topped with a 24-freet rosewood fingerboard. Extra jumbo frets, offset dot inlays and 1.653" wide TUSQ nut complete the fingerboard. Schecter`s locking tuners are installed on the headstock. the MSRP for the basic Stealth is set at $699.
