Along with the futuristic Cygnus, Jeff Loomis signature series has received three "traditional" models based on the classic C-1/7 platform. The first of these, and the basic one among them, Jeff Loomis JL-6 FR, comes in with a combination of classic JL appointments and modern features. Jeff Loomis JL-6 FR kicks off with a solid, double-cut C-1 body made of swamp ash and a fast, sleek (Ultra Thin C profile) maple neck. 24-fret maple fingerboard with XJ frets, black metal cross inlays and 1.625" locking string nut. The electronics unit boasts a pair of active Seymour Duncan Jeff Loomis humbuckers, installed with a spartan controls unit. Standard Floyd Rose 1500 bridge and Grover tuners complete the list of major JL-6 FR`s features.
