Ultra series from Schecter Guitars is one of several series to feature 22-fret fingerboards as the series standard, instead of 24. Also, the classic two-piece bridge section is introduced instead of the tune-o-matic with strings running through the body behind it. Ultra models have unique and recognizable shape reminiscent of Jazzmaster and Firebird. Hardware appointments are mostly taken from the Firebird side of the family, while the scale length comes from the Fender side, it measures 25-1/2". Body of Ultra III is made of mahogany and it`s paired with a three-piece mahogany neck. Instead of the stoptail bar, Bigsby tailpiece is installed behind the tune-o-matic bridge. A set of three Duncan Designed FG 101 pickups is featured in the front. Set in mahogany neck is topped with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard.
