Hellraiser series is still, after many years, one of the most popular and most concurrent series of metal-oriented electric guitars out there. In Schecter`s catalog, it is only matched by mighty Blackjack series. For 2014, Hellraiser is being updated with a multitude of new models and refreshed versions of the old ones. Solo segment of the standard Hellraiser series is doing a traditionally good job and 2014 is about the facelifting and updating the existing models. Hellraiser Solo II is one of the new models introduced for this year. It comes with a solid and single-cut body made of mahogany back and quilt maple top. Long 25-1/2" scale, brutal EMG 81/89 pickups combo and 24 extra jumbo frets put this six-stringer far above the competition. Bridge section on this model is fit with a classic tune-o-matic/stoptail bar combo with black chrome plating and six fixed saddles. Mighty EMGs are controlled through separate volume and tone controls and can be split into single-coils. Three-way toggle pickup switch completes the controls unit. Mahogany neck is set in and features the standard thin C contour in the back. On it`s top, there`s a 24-fret fingerboard made of rosewood.
