C-7 models are, along with the classic C-1 (six-stringers), the backbone of the Schecter catalog. In recent years, C-8 and even C-9 models have appeared, but C-1 and C-7 still hold their ground as the most important and most popular of the bunch. For 2014, Schecter has introduced numerous C-7 models and Hellraiser Hybrid C-7 is one of them. It comes with a solid and double-cut body with the standard C-7 contour. This model features the standard 26-1/2" scale, set in neck with the magnificent ultra access cutaway, active EMG electronics and a 24-fret fingerboard. Body is made of mahogany in the back and quilted maple on the top. It`s combined with a three-piece maple neck with ultra thin C contour in the back (this one replaces the standard mahogany three-piece neck with thin C contour). EMG 57 and 66 in bridge nad neck positions replace the 81 and 89 models. Two volume knobs, one tone knob and a three-position blade switch comprise the controls. Maple neck is topped with a 24-fret fingerboard made of ebony (instead of the regular rosewood one). Schecter`s locking tuners complete the specs list.
