E-1 Custom Special Edition is a brand new 2016 model. It introduces the cult Explorer concept to the Schecter catalog (it is a six-string guitar, thus the E-1 designation). We certainly hope the E concept catches on and becomes one of the mainstays of the catalog. E-1 Custom Special Edition starts off with a solid and flat body made of mahogany base and quilt maple top (a pretty standard combo in the Custom tier), and a three-piece mahogany neck with set-in joint and C profile. 22-fret ebony fingerboard with creme binding and block inlays tops the neck. Schecter`s USA Sunset Strip (bridge) and USA Pasadena (neck) promise a big, fat rocking tone. Two-piece hardtail bridge and locking Schecter tuners complete this six-string royalty.
