Devil models in Schecter catalog are an homage to the legendary SG guitar from Gibson. Slightly altered body curve and the "Devil`s Horns" cutaway make up the solid, double-cut Devil. Devils are an important ingredient of the Schecter cuisine, for they bring that raw and unspoiled flavor of hard rock. For 2013 Schecter has prepared one rather unusual Devil model, Devil Invader Special Edition. Instead of a pair of active humbuckers, this Devil is loaded with a pair of Seymour Duncan`s Invader pickups. Two volume knobs, one tone knob and a three-way toggle pickup switch comprise the controls unit of this model. Volume knobs are equipped with push-pull switches for coil splitting. With the Invaders, Devil steps boldly onto the metal ground. Body of this model is solid, double-cut and made completely of mahogany. Beveled edges, deep cutaway and flat top are hallmarks of Devil body. Black with satin finish is the only color scheme assigned to this model. Bridge section features a tune-o-matic bridge with string-through construction. Set in neck is made of three pieces of mahogany. It is topped with a 24-fret fingerboard made of ebony. Grover tuners are installed in 3+3 arrangement.
