V1 is the classic Flying V concept made by Schecter Guitars. It features a bit more vintage-oriented design, while the B-2 design is a proper modern 21st century V axe. V1 from Demon series is one of the most attractive models in it`s price class. It comes with a standard solid V body made of basswood. Top on this model is flat and features no fancy decorations. Demon V-1 has active electronics and is equipped with a pair of Duncan Designed HB-105 pickups. These come in H/H configuration and feature the standard controls unit. Master volume, master tone and a three-way toggle pickup switch comprise it. Bolt-on maple neck has a standard contour in the back and is topped with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard on top.

Sturdy guitar, very nice feel in the hand. The point where the strap is attached to the body is awkwardly chosen, so go for a strap-lock to avoid accidents. Great for playing both sitting and standing, the V fits perfect against your right thigh. High and clear output, with a warm resonance. The active pups really do a great job! Action on strings is a bit high, requiring a bit of effort for proper notes, especially on the higher ones (closer to the body; tried it with the standard 10-46 Ernie Ball Regular Slinky strings) The finish could have been better (especially at the neck / body joint) The Satin Black looks great when new, but it's a pain when it comes to maintenance. It tends to become "polished" where it rubs against the body. Tested with: Behringer V-Tone GMX-210 // Zoom G1on
