Schecter`s Blackjack SLS Series for Blackjack Slim Line Series, and it is a completely new line consisting of the brands most popular and sought after shapes and models. This series brings ultra thin neck profiles, carved flamed maple tops, Seymour Duncan pickups and 24 extra jumbo frets. Blackjack SLS C-7 is a seven string model with a solid, double cutaway body made of mahogany back and flamed maple top. This one is available in satin black color with multiple black binding around the top. Traditionally, as majority of Schecter models, this one does not feature pickguards. The bridge on this C-7 is a black chrome plated tune-o-matic in combination with string-through-body construction. This one is a classic non-tremolo feature on Schecter models. Every player has a choice when it comes to pickups, active Seymour Duncan Blackout, or passive Full shred and Jazz Passive humbucking combos can be built on. Only the passive option has coil splitting. Controls consist of two volume and one tone control. Pickup switch is a three-position blade. The neck is made of three pieces of maple and features ultra thin contour, satin finish, set-in joint and ultra access cutaway with contoured heel. Ebony fingerboard is equipped with 24 extra jumbo sized frets and skull inlay at the 12th fret. Other options include Schecter locking tuning machines, black chrome plated hardware and 26-1/2" scale characteristic for seven and eight string models from this brand.
