Blackjack series is one of the most versatile guitar lines in Schecter`s catalog. It encompasses a wide variety of six, seven and eight-stringers with various body shapes and neck construction options (bolt-on, set in and set in with ultra access). Classic C shape (C-1, C-7 and C-8) is the backbone of the Blackjack range, present since it`s inception. For 2014, Blackjack is infused with several C models and ATX C-7 is one of them. It comes with a solid and double-cut body made of mahogany and a set in mahogany neck. This tonewood combo is one of the most desired combinations among metal players, as it gives plenty of strength and a powerful low end. ATX C-7 is offered in Vampyre Red Satin and Aged Black Satin. Both color schemes feature black hardware. Seymour Duncan`s AHB-1 Blackout humbuckers are installed on the top. They`re controlled through separate volume knobs, common tone knob and a three-position blade switch. Mahogany neck is made of three pieces of wood and is combined with the ultra access cutaway. On it`s top, Schecter installs a standard 24-fret fingerboard made of ebony.
