650 is the intermediate tier of the famous 600 series in Rickenbacker catalog. Models form this line are solid and feature the iconic crest wave body shape. These double-cuts are equipped with standard 24-3/4" scales, 21-fret fingerboards, Rickenbacker pickups and Schaller tuners. Crest wave body contour was introduced more than 50 years ago and during the time it hasn`t changed much. 650 model from this series comes in two variants, 650C, which is made of hardwood and 650D, which combines walnut and maple. On 650D walnut wings are attached to the rock maple neck. Top of the body is equipped with standard one-piece hardtail bridge and two humbucker pickups with standard Rickenbacker controls unit. 21-fret fingerboard is standard for 600 series and on 650D is made of maple.
