PXD series is the main line of metal axes made by Peavey. It offers affordable guitars with rather simple design and strong, full-throated tone. Odyssey models in this series feature Les Paul-like design and Peavey`s own styling. Body of the Odyssey II is solid, flat on top and made of mahogany. Standard color palette of the PXD series is used for the Odyssey II, as well. Gloss Black, Matte Black, Gloss White and Gloss Red comprise it. Black hardware is featured with all four. Bridge section is fairly simple, it features a lone tune-o-matic bridge. In it`s front, Peavey installs a pair of active EMG humbuckers. Two volume knobs, one EMG Afterburner knob and a three-way toggle pickup switch comprise the controls unit. Set in mahogany neck is topped with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard.
