SE Singlecut Korina 2012 is a new model which comes to broaden the spectrum of the SE series. It is made on similar principles as SE Korina One, which means only quality parts and only what is needed for a comfortable play. As it is easily seen, this model features no makeup or embellishments, it gets right down to business. SE Singlecut Korina is made of korina wood body and neck. The body is solid and features beveled edges. There are no bindings or pickguards around and on top, and it perfectly fits the philosophy behind these korina models. Vintage amber is the only color available for this model. Pickups are provided by PRS themselves, and the combo they chose is PRS Designed SE Treble and PRS Designed SE Bass humbuckers. Controls for these pickups consist of a master volume, master tone and a three-way toggle switch. Korina neck in combination with korina body ensures a rich and strong tone. Contour of the neck is wide fat as it is on most of the PRS single cutaway models. The fingerboard is made of bound rosewood and equipped with 22 frets and bird inlays. PRS made stoptail bridge is plated in nickel. 25" scale and PRS tuning machines complete the picture.
