Starla is an interesting concept, a bit uncharacteristic for PRS catalog. It is based on the classic Singlecut, with 50s and 60s elements neatly infused into the mix. There`s only one Starla model in 2017 catalog - the S2 Starla. Despite the fact that PRS started out in 1985, the late 50s/early 60s styling of the new Starla model blends perfectly with the single-cut contour of the body. Traditional styling, huge tone and PRS`s trademark playability make this little gem the perfect choice for PRS fans who want a thoroughbred vintage axe. Core construction features include an all-mahogany body (beveled top), mahogany neck (Pattern profile) and rosewood fingerboard (22 frets, dot inlays) Main hardware and electronics features include a Bigsby B-50 bridge, low mass locking PRS tuners and Starla humbuckers.
