Neal Schon and PRS have been collaborating for years now and it`s time to represent new Neal Schon signature models. There are two of them introduced for the 2013 edition of the NAMM Show and they both come with exquisite sets of specs and appointments. PRS has used only the best of the best materials and hardware parts available. This article is dedicated to the one named NS-15. It is a semi-hollow bodied guitar with single-cut body. Three tone woods are being used in the construction of the body. Back is made of curly maple, sides are made of mahogany and the spruce is used for the carved and bound top. Top panel is bound in creme binding and carved with stylized "f" holes. A multitude of color options is available for this model. Bridge section is equipped with a Floyd Rose double locking tremolo system. This is a complete novelty for PRS Guitars. Pickups come in H/H configuration. It`s a set of PRS '57 active humbuckers. Neck is made of maple and it features a special Neal Schon contour in the back. This set neck is topped with a 22-fret ebony fingerboard. PRS tuners, 25" scale and gloss finish are also featured on this model.
