Custom 22 Maple Top from the Special Edition series is a solid-bodied guitar with a standard PRS double-cutaway design. It is made of tried and tested ingredients, which ensure the famous PRS tone and supreme playability. Custom shop level of build is also a standard feature of PRS catalog. This Special Edition Custom 22 is made of mahogany back and flamed maple top. Top is carved and bound in creme binding. Nitrocellulose gloss finish is applied over the body and the back side of the neck. One-piece bridge section has a wrap around stopbar bridge with nickel plating. In the front, PRS installs a pair of Dragon II active humbuckers. Set in mahogany neck is topped with a regular 22-fret fingerboard made of rosewood. Abalone Bird inlays decorate the fingerboard.
