22 Semi-Hollow Limited is a model from the Special Edition series in PRS catalog. It features the classic PRS double-cut contour and set in neck construction. This shape is the most recognizable and first to come into mind when PRS Guitars are mentioned. Also, it is made of the most prominent materials in PRS catalog, mahogany and maple. Mahogany is used for the semi-hollow back, while the quilted maple is used for top. Top is finished in gloss and bound in classic creme binding. Tremolo bridge features string-through construction and gold-plating. In it`s front, there`s a pair of 57/08 active humbuckers. Master volume, master tone and a three-way toggle pickup switch complete the controls unit. Set in mahogany neck is topped with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard.
