S6 is one of two steel-stringed Rick Turner models, with the other being S6 Flame. Basically, this one`s a hybrid guitar, half way between the steel-stringed acoustic and an electric. Rick Turner S6 is available only in High Gloss Sunburst, with a glossy finish (satin finish on the neck) and chrome hardware. There`s no soundhole, no pickguard or rosette on this model (or any other Rick Turner models, for that matter). Core construction features include an okume body (back, sides, top are all made of okume), mahogany neck (satin finish, bolt-on joint, C profile), and rosewood fingerboard (1-11/16" nut, 25-1/2" scale, dot inlays, 12" radius). Main hardware and electronics appointments include die-cast tuners, rosewood bridge, and D-TAR electronics (Seymour Duncan/Turner piezo system).
