Starline is a model that dates back to 1940s and Maton`s beginnings. It is one of the models that laid foundations to what Maton is today. This most recent incarnation keeps the flame burning for all the lovers of thoroughbred hollow-bodies with jazz orientation. This model comes in single cut variant with body made of Queensland back and sides and selected spruce top. Top panel is rich and good looking with white binding, elevated plastic pickguard and "f" holes carved on the each side of the bridge. Bridge section has a gold-plated tune-o-matic bridge with trapezoid tailpiece. Active humbucking pickups can be split through a push-pull switch placed in the master volume knob. Se Queensland maple neck has a 22-fret fingerboard made of ebony. Grover provides gold-plated tuning machines.
