MS500 HC is a semi-hollow bodied MS500 guitar made by Australian Maton Guitars. It comes with a double cut body made of either blackwood or rosewood. Top is carved with decorative holes on the bass side of the body. Top is also equipped with white binding and white plastic pickguard. Bridge section on MS500 HC is made up of two components. In the front, Maton installs a tune-o-matic bridge, while the stoptail is the back part. These two are plated in chrome, as is the rest of the hardware. Tuning machines on the headstock are made by Grover and are arranged in three-a-side pattern. Minibucker pickups are featured on this guitar and only bridge pickup can be split. Rosewood fingerboard is equipped with 22 frets with dot inlays.
