JTV-59P is largely the same model as JTV-59 with only major difference being visible in pickups department. 59P has P-90 pickups, while the regular 59 has Alnico humbuckers. Other than that, these two models are the same. JTV-59P comes with a solid, single-cut body made of mahogany base with maple top. Top is carved and bound. Bridge section features a standard wrap-around bridge with chrome plating. Additional piezo pickup is featured under the bridge. Electronics include Variax Workbench software and two control knobs through which player can select one of 28 vintage instrument sounds and 11 alternate tunings. Neck on this model is made of mahogany and it features the classic '59 profile in the back. On it`s top Line 6 installs a 22-fret fingerboard.
