Fanned frets are by no means a recent discovery, but they`ve entered the big arena of electric guitar market only a few years ago. Thus far, six, seven, eight and even nine-string models were introduced by various brands. However, Kiesel and Legator remain the most notable proponents of fanned frets. Ninja R 300-PRO Fanned Fret 9-String is a real beast of a guitar. It rocks a compound 28-1/2"-30" scale with the lowest string bordering on the short bass scale. Main construction features include solid mahogany wings, burl maple top (two-piece construction), maple/walnut neck (fast contour, heel-less joint), and ebony fingerboard (24 jumbo frets, offset dot inlays, 14" radius). Other notable features include a Legator monorail bridge, locking Legator tuners, and Legator Ninja humbuckers.
