Kiesel`s Vader series is among the most prominent representatives of the up and coming wave of commercially available headless electric guitars. Six, seven and eight-stringed models, with both standard and multi-scales are offered. Vaders are available through Kiesel`s site, being sold as custom shop models. V8 Kiesel Vader, despite its semi custom shop status, does have some standardized features, like alder body, through-body maple neck, 24-fret ebony fingerboard (medium jumbo frets, 20" radius, 2.15" nut), 27" scale (25-1/2" is also available) and Kiesel Lithium pickups. Other than that, pretty much everything can be customized. Kiesel offers a huge range of back, top, neck and fingerboard tonewood options. Also, a multitude of color and finish options is available for order. V8 starts at $1,299.
