K-8 is an eight-string Kiesel guitar, which is a part of the limited 70th Anniversary series. It is one of six (eight, if Hipshot and Floyd Rose variants of six and seven-stringed models are counted separately) models available; it has a fixed 27" scale, Hipshot bridge and a starting price of $2,749. Just like the rest of the series, K-8 comes in with a handful of fixed features and huge customization possibilities. Three-piece Soloist body, 7-piece through-body neck, 24-fret fingerboard, Kiesel tuners, Kiesel Lithium humbuckers, kill-switch volume knob and Luminlay side dot markers are among the fixed features. On the other hand, tonewood selection is completely left to each player. Players can also customize every other visual/cosmetic aspect of this exclusive eight-stringer.
