Jay Turser is among the best and the most prominent "small" guitar brands coming from USA. It is owned and distributed by Davitt & Hanser which is, in turn, a division of JAM Industries, LTD. The main strength of Jay Turser catalog is its J-Tones series. JT-1423 is one of only three currently active models. Main features include a solid and single-cut body (all-mahogany construction, vintage pickguard), passive electronics (mini humbuckers in bridge and neck, split volume & tone knobs, rotary pickup switch), and vintage-style hardware. Black Sparkle, Burgundy Burst, and Tobacco Sunburst options comprise the color palette. Other notable features include a maple neck (smooth and fast profile, adjustable truss rod), rosewood fingerboard (dot inlays, 22 frets, 24.5" scale), wooden bridge w/trapezoid tailpiece, and vintage tuners.
